Though it isn’t exactly the first time that RIM have made a BlackBerry which appeals to all, the fact that they’ve made it so stylish must count as a first.
The Storm is compatible with most of the video formats out there, which includes the MPEG4 and WMV formats. You can also stream video clips from websites like youtube.com right to your phone.

The Storm can also stream audio clips as well. Just like a lot of BlackBerry’s phones, the music player supports WMA, MP3 and AAC files and can be connected to your PC as well as iTunes. The phone comes with a 3.5mm adapter so that you can listen to music with your very own headsets.

One of the first features that trump that of the iPhone 3G is the impressive 3.2MP camera, which has flash as well as autofocus, which ensures that you capture extremely sharp pictures. Video recording is also possible.

Another trump when compared to the iPhone 3G is the ability to send MMSs. SMS sending is also possible. The BlackBerry Instant Messenger is also available, which allow you to chat with your friends and family using your e-mail IDs.

As far as data connectivity goes, the Storm has 3G HSDPA connectivity, which means that you will be able to access the internet at super fast speeds. Bluetooth is also available, as is a USB socket.

The 624 MHz processor, as well as 128MB RAM, ensures a super fast user-experience. Internal memory is 1GB.

The screen is 3.25’ long and has a resolution of 360×480. There is an estimated talk time of about 5 hours.

The Blackberry Storm 9500 is priced at USD $799 or Indian Rupees 38,691.
