Sony Ericsson

After information about the Sony Ericsson ‘Frances’ had leaked out several times into the open, SE have finally decided to go official with it and have announced the Sony Ericsson C903 Cyber-shot. The announcement comes just a couple of days before the start of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2009.
It does somewhat resemble the LG KC780, but the back panel of the C903 seems to have found some inspiration from Sony’s digital cameras. This is quite obvious as the C903 seems to be more about imaging (as befits the C-series) with a 5MP camera and auto – focus. It can shoot pics with a maximum resolution of 2592 x 1944. It also comes with a dual – LED flash. As is the norm for most imaging phones, there is a slide-mechanism at the back which, when slided downwards, reveals the camera (thereby protecting it from dust and, possibly, scratches). Apparently, it can also detect faces and smiles and is also able to do some geotagging.

Samsung

The Samsung S7350 is surely another one of those phones which has apparently been leaked by Samsung. There may be two possible reasons behind this leakage: either Samsung is finding it really hard to keep a lid on the bottle or they are in the midst of an extremely scheming yet clever marketing campaign. The latter is probably the more possible reason.
Whatever the case may be, it does seem that it would be quite pointless and even useless for the Samsung team to turn up at the MWC 2009. Frankly speaking, they could as well just put the phones up for display without actually being there! Whether they are going to be there or not, why don’t we have a look at what Samsung is trying to cleverly hide or market?

Samsung

There are a couple of people I know (and who shall be anonymous) who are often hard to reach. Why? Because they often forget to charge their phones and find, halfway through their journey that their phone is near to dead. I suppose a good choice for these so – called ‘friends’ would be the latest in the line of Samsung’s never – ending new phones, the Samsung Blue Earth, which is to be revealed at the Mobile World Congress to be held in Barcelona. the Samsung Blue Earth is launching today.
The Samsung Blue Earth is powered by solar energy and is an eco – friendly phone, something which environmental conservationalists will just kill to get their hands on. Samsung say that the design was made to resemble a round pebble. The solar panel at the back of the phone will ensure that your phone will get charged whenever the sun is peeking out, thereby ensuring that, nearly all the time, you will definitely have some charge, thereby ensuring that you won’t be left searching for a place to get your phone charged whenever it is on the verge of ‘death’.

LG,
Windows Mobile

While many critics continue to tease the LG KM900 for having copied the iPhone without much shame, there are plenty of critics who are taking back such comments.
The interface of this smartphone seems to be more SUSE when compared to Apple. Although there are plenty of very closely resembling menu icons towards the bottom, the spinning cube is usually more inclined towards Novell SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop. A 3D cube-based layout which makes up the touch screen’s user interface is one of the unique selling points of LG in this phone. The phone’s features can be easily accessed through the cubic layout along with four customizable screens! The touch-based 3D menus enable users to access music, pictures and movies instantaneously. Also S-Class gets a lifelike look from the great 3D graphics which makes it naturally easy to navigate around. There is no doubt that the interface is surely innovative.

Blackberry

Though it isn’t exactly the first time that RIM have made a BlackBerry which appeals to all, the fact that they’ve made it so stylish must count as a first.
The Storm is compatible with most of the video formats out there, which includes the MPEG4 and WMV formats. You can also stream video clips from websites like youtube.com right to your phone.
The Storm can also stream audio clips as well. Just like a lot of BlackBerry’s phones, the music player supports WMA, MP3 and AAC files and can be connected to your PC as well as iTunes. The phone comes with a 3.5mm adapter so that you can listen to music with your very own headsets.
