Expert in design, Samsung announced the release of its three slider smartphones with QWERTY keypad on previous June 23rd 2010. Also supported by T-Mobile USA, these three smartphones are Gravity 3, Gravity T and Samsung Smiley. They are meant to hit the low-end market, that’s why they come with affordable price ranges from $19.99 to $74.99. These smartphones have some similarities in their 184MHz processor, 3G connectivity, GPS support, Bluetooth, MicroSD slot, featuring two brilliant new features – the Exchange Email feature and T-Mobile Social Buzz feature, considering today’s world cannot stand without online social networking. These three smartphones will be available very soon.
Samsung Gravity 3 has a side-slider design with a numeric keypad under the display and the QWERTY keypad comes out when you slide the phone. All the answering, numeric and QWERTY keys are big size and very comfortable to press. The phone has a glossy body and elegant in both Blue-Black and White-Yellow color selections. The display is not touchscreen but already enables auto-rotate. It has a 2 MP camera and a snapshot key at the left side of the phone and a volume key at the right side. It has an anti-slippery back for a better grip. With integrated music player and wonderful HSDPA high speed support, the predicted price of Samsung Gravity 3 is $49.99.
Samsung Gravity T is also side-slider handset with QWERTY keypad, but this time with a wide high resolution touchscreen display that enables auto-rotate and on-screen keys. It also has a 2 MP camera and HSDPA support. The snapshot and volume keys are available, and a stereo loudspeaker is at the back of the phone. Available in ‘Black with Red’, The predicted price of Samsung Gravity T is $74,99.
Samsung Smiley is the cheapest among the three, with only $19.99 and it does not have a touchscreen display. It is a vertical slider phone with QWERTY keypad, but the keys are rather small, not convenient to press. It has a 1.3 MP camera and a wonderful 3G wireless radio. Stereo loudspeaker, volume key and snapshot key are available. The back cover is also anti-slippery. The Samsung Smiley is only available in one color selection, Black with Blue QWERTY keypad.

Built in size 113 x 48.9 x 17.4 mm and weighs 102.8 grams, Samsung Marine comes in classic candy bar design with stripes at the battery cover for anti-slippery grip.
The Samsung Marine’s display is rather disappointing with only 1.77 inches wide and low resolution (120 x 160 pixels), but its 1.3 MP camera already enables Flash for taking good pictures, and video recording, but no videocall. This smartphone comes with a slider design, glossy body in size 96.5 x 47 x 16.3 mm and weighs 85 grams, very handy and light.
